More Work

Wow – you clicked on the “More Work” link?

Either you were really curious or you want to do more work.  Or maybe you wanted some super wisdom on “getting more work” – which is in the Strategy section…

Do you believe that doing MORE work is the answer in your business?  Well it could be, if you are not currently doing much work, but is not really likely.

Here is something to think about “working”.

Right now – I believe you could sit down and make a list of all things that you COULD be doing to make your business perform better.  And with someone standing behind you with a stick saying – “write another one – come on -think!” – you could likely make a list of dozens of “to do’s”.

Then – starting at the top – do them all!  You would work all day and night, 6 days a week – “doing” stuff.  Stuff would get done!

And then you would say “Rack off Hooper, this sucks.”

And I would say – “Yes, it does.  You are wasting your life juices on this fluff.”

You could “Work yourself to death, to the bone, to insanity, and finally to the poorhouse.”

You want more from your business?  Then stop working.  And think.  The plan and organize.  Teach the business to do the work – not you.  If working harder made you rich – then that guy who does all the work on those gangs that build roads would have all the moolah.  Or the guy who mows lawns by himself everyday but nets less than he would get from busking in the mall…

On this site you will find the three podiums of success – Mindset, Strategy and Execution.  You allow yourself to act strongly, you strategically choose the very specific actions to act on and when, and then you calmly and with organization get those actions done.  Then you review your results, your processes, the environment – make adjustments and go again.

There is nothing here about doing more work.  In fact – if you do enough different things now – statistically only 4% of what you do generates 64% of the value you create.  Do you know what those things are?  Take a moment and have an insight.

Rock on
